Lets talk BIGFOOT...
Posted Wednesday, 13 January 2010 By Justin Aaron Minor
...and all of his unknown little friends out there.
One thing Jordan and I have always pushed when trying to discuss cryptids with skeptics is the story of the Giant Squid. Everybody said it couldnt exist, and it was actually classified as a cryptid...
until they CAUGHT one.
So get busy posting!!!

The Choctaw Indians believe(or at least theres one legend that holds) that they are indeed spirits. Or at least shape-shifters. They believe that they can take on the form anything they need to in order to mete out justice, or help their people in some way. This also holds true of werewolves...they call them 'Skin-Walkers'...again, able to shape shift to whatever is needed at hand.

there is certainly cause to believe in a bigfoot like creature evolution can be a cruel mistress ...or it can be a kind one. I would certainly think there are creatures out there we have not found

agreed...I mean, who would have ever thought something like a dinosaur COULD exist...if we didnt have the proof? I always like to point out GERMS...
If you had told someone in 1905 that there were ivisible, microscopic LIVING organisms everywhere, including their own BODY...they would have called you crazy.
Its the same kind of thing...just cause you cant see it... YET, doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

The Skunk Ape
Posted Monday, 18 January 2010 By Donna Stewart
I just watched something on Monster Quest about The Skunk Ape. Of course, there is a longer and more un-pronouncable name for it, but in and around Florida (especially the swaplands) it is called The Skunk Ape. Description seem to run alongside Bigfoot in many way, and someone (allegedly) photographed the creature, it resembled an oragutan (sp). Even the "scent" seemed similar to what is described in bigfoot sightings and encounters. Maybe the same creature?
And I do agree with Adrienne's post! If we are discovering species that existed millions of years ago and escaped the evolution process, could it be that these creature also escaped the evolution process?
Gotta say, Justin, since "meeting" you guys, this has interested me more and more....

It is a VERY interesting field...especially when you start researching and find these stories about Giant Squids being caught, and 4,000 new, NEVER BEFORE KNOWN or documented species being found in a two square mile perimeter in the South American rain forest...etc.
Another, great one, the Duckbill Platypus. When the first reports started coming back from Australia, the European Biologist thought it was a hoax...
